We recognize that your privacy is important and strive to make our platform as safe and secure as possible. This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information stored, products, services and websites offered by Zero Legal, LLC (Referred to as Zero Legal for the purpose of this agreement), and/or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies. All users of Zero Legal's platform are covered under this Privacy Policy upon agreeing to the terms set forth below. Zero Legal may release user information in compliance with any state or federal law enforcement agencies. Zero Legal reserves the right to update this privacy policy as needed. Personal information provided, as well as any communication between you and Zero Legal is considered "secure" for the purpose of this agreement, and cannot be accessed or viewed by other members.

Zero Legal allows members to provide personal information in their public profile but will not share any "private" or confidential information not intended for other members; unless requested or performed by you. Any person under the age of 18 is prohibited from using Zero Legal or any of its associated services. Therefore, these individuals under the age of 18 are NOT authorized to submit any private information to Zero Legal or its affiliates. Zero Legal accepts no liability for such actions or attempts to provide this private information.


The Zero Legal Platform

Zero Legal is a cloud based SaaS platform (the "Zero Legal Platform") allowing members to connect with attorneys. Creating an account allows members ("Zero Legal Members") access to our software, the ability to search for attorneys and setup meetings with attorneys. Zero Legal must collect specific information during the normal course of business, retaining the rights of ownership to this information.

Information We Collect and How We Use It
Several primary types of information provided by you are collected upon creating a profile. Credit card information may also be accepted for ticketing fees, app creation and other services. Zero Legal is in no way limited to the collection of this type of information and may deem it necessary to collect other data. Zero Legal will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of Privacy Policy changes). In order to provide our full range of services, we may collect the following types of information:

Information Provided by You
When you sign up as a member, or other promotion services that requires registration, we ask you for personal information (such as, but NOT limited to your name, email address and an account password). For certain services, such as ticketing, app creation fees or advertising services, we also request credit card or other payment account information which we maintain in encrypted form on secure servers. We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other services or third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services. For certain services, we may give you the opportunity to opt out of combining such information. In some cases, we process personal information on a server outside your own country.

Cookies

Zero Legal uses cookies to improve the quality of our service (including storing user preferences), improving search results and ad selections, and tracking user trends, such as how people search. When you visit, we send one or more cookies (a small file containing a string of characters) to your computer or other device that uniquely identifies your browser.

Log Information
When you access our services, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. Zero Legal also uses cookies in its advertising services to help advertisers and publishers serve and manage ads across the web. These "cookies" will not harm your computer and can be deleted at any time.

Credit Card/ Billing
Zero Legal intends to use a third party to verify and process credit card information for any fees or purchases made on the Zero Legal Platform. Information provided to these third parties is for its intended purpose only. 3rd parties are required to keep information secure, and cannot be stored or released. Certain information from your profile including contact information may be released to these 3rd parties, affiliates, and partners for the purpose of marketing and improving our services.

Profile 
Upon completion of registration, new users will be prompted to create a profile. Both new and existing members have the ability to change their profile setting, selecting what information should remain private and what information is available to the public.

User Accounts/Profiles

Members of Zero Legal reserve the right to make changes to their account at any time by logging in and editing profile information. You may also remove (delete) your account at any time by following the directions found in your profile.

User Communications
 
When you send email or other communications to Zero Legal, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.

Affiliated Services on other Sites
We offer some of our services on or through other web sites. Personal information that you provide to those sites may be sent to Zero Legal in order to deliver the service. We process such information under this Privacy Policy. The affiliated sites through which our services are offered may have different privacy practices and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Third Party

We may make available third party applications through its services. The information collected by us when you enable a third party or other application is processed under this Privacy Policy. Information collected by the application or third party provider is governed by their privacy policies.

Zero Legal may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve the quality of our search technology, customized content and advertising.

Zero Legal recommends you should use good judgment when using these third party outlets, reminding you this information Can Not be secured under the Zero Legal Privacy Policy, and Zero Legal recommends reading and understanding any 3rd party sites Privacy Policy before linking that account to your Zero Legal profile.

Other Sites

This Privacy Policy applies to Zero Legal services only. We do not exercise control over the sites displayed as search results, sites that include Zero Legal applications, products or services, or links from within our various services. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you.

System Generated Direct Messages

Zero Legal members may receive email requests from Zero Legal or other members. Zero Legal will additionally send emails for promotional materials during the registration process through the time your account remains active with Zero Legal. Share Link

Zero Legal allows members to access their personal email accounts to invite friends, colleagues, and other general contacts to join Zero Legal. This function is performed by you, under your authority. Zero Legal Does Not Save or Store Your Password or Contacts.

Sale or Merger of Zero Legal
If Zero Legal becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will ensure the confidentiality of any personal information involved in such transactions and provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. Zero Legal may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users who searched for a particular term, for example, or how many users clicked on a particular advertisement. Such information does not identify you individually.

Information Security
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data. We restrict access to personal information to Zero Legal employees, contractors and agents; except for in situations where that information is needed in order to operate, develop or improve our services. Zero Legal processes personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy or any applicable service-specific privacy notice. We review our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store and process the personal information needed to provide or improve our services or as otherwise permitted under this Policy. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary.

Zero Legal regularly reviews its compliance with this Privacy Policy. Please note that Zero Legal reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy at any time. Each version of this Privacy Policy will be identified at the top of the page by its effective date.
